Bachman's 2011 Summer Ideas House: Pt II

Step inside.  But before you do,
Take a notes from the colorful window box -it's a big one.
The Orange Million Bells in the blue pot is pretty fab.
Next, look up and see the creative house numbers.
The Bachman's designers get points for the oar.  Summer!

How about this cozy little entry.
I dig the table.
A simple fence corale repurposed into a table with the added glass top.  Love it.

This house is all about reusing old lockers. Here's some stacked.

No need to leave your boots at the door, the snow has melted!
But please do hang up your keys on this super ginormous key holder.
(e.i., Chairs on the wall.)

We headed into the living room because it was calling our name.
I am kicking myself for leaving ratty old shutters at garage sales.
Clearly, I should have hung them up. Duh. Fabulous.

Since the Fall Ideas House, I've been a fan of how they do the fireplace.
This time it's lined it with place mats. Cool and so easy!
The mirror is fantastic and made of wood shims. Fab.

Like the outside - the inside too, is all about succulents.
Bringing outside in with wicker. Notice the light fixture....garden edging.
The floor to ceiling pipe suspended shelves were pretty fab.  They made the room.
The fans are awesome.

Heading over to the dining room.
This was less elaborate than the Spring House. I think the table is much more doable.
The napkin rings are braclets.  Fancy up a chair with a scarf.
 You could do that!
See, another garden edging lampshade.. and valances too.  Sheesh, fab!
 The kitchen is pretty charming.
Notice, thread spools and door pulls. The shopping cart for creative storage.
Save your old wooden spoons and whip up a light fixture.
Hang a fence post on the wall behind your stove. I dare ya.

There's a cute little bathroom off the kitchen that was worthy of a few pictures.
The farm implement thingie as a shelf. Very cool.
And, the make-shift towel rack.. string, hooks and clothespins. This I like.

Next, is the upstairs.... you'll like it.
(Till then, school is out! Have an ice cream cone.)

*Please note*
I had no participation in the designs/decor of this house.
The house is for show only and I am merely a spectator.

Love that green color on the walls in the kitchen. Maybe a good color for a door?

  7. I happened to notice the doric square columns in one of the pictures above and I can't help but point out the interesting blend of art-deco and contemporary infusion in that simple, yet tasteful sense for elegance. Impressive!
